An oratorical competition for school kids to mark the birthday of Jayaprakash Narayan, the freedom fighter and political leader has been arranged by Jayaprakash Narayan Forum, Chennai
The contest is open to students studying in classes 10 to 12. The topics are: JP's role during the freedom struggle and after; Contribution of Tamil Nadu to the freedom movement; Role of students in the creation of Strong India; My aim in life.
The competition will be held on Oct. 8 at 2.30 pm. Venue: Sringeri Pravachana Mandiram, 21, Sringeri Mutt Road, Raja Annamalai Puram, Chennai - 28
